An Episode of Arrow introduces Barry as a young enthusiastic Police man hot on the trail of a meta human resembling super human abilities like the one that killed his mother. Spoiler Alert! His scientific know how helps him to use rat poison to save the Green Arrow. After his work is done he has to return home to save his job as he was not on assignment when he followed the meta human trail into Arrow’s backyard. While minding his own business in he warehouse apartment a storm above brewed that knocked out power across the city. As he finished closing the sky window, he’s hit by lighting. We don’t hear anything about him again in the Arrow series other than him recovering from a coma.
