Kevin Butler (actor: Jerry Lambert) breaks ranks with Playstation by doing a Bridgstone commercial which entails a free Nintendo Wii giveaway. Needless to say, Playstation cries foul and all hell breaks loose. The “I’ll SUE you” hammer drops on Jerry and Bridgestone. Jerry settles and agrees to never do a commercial that even remotely uses a competitors brand for 2 years, and never use the name of Kevin Butler in any capacity without Playstation’s approval. Bridgestone drops Jerry from all campaign ads but still battles Playstation on the merits of their lawsuit. Long story short… Represent your brand 100% even if the competition is offering a pretty check; Cause in the end, disloyalty is an ugly shirt to wear.
